Seattle, Tacoma, and the surrounding areas are teeming with community and semi-professional theatres, some of which focus solely on musical theatre.

In order to get into one of these shows, you have to audition…which is why so many people who are interested in performing end up not doing it.

Auditioning is scary. If you haven’t done it before, it can be an overwhelmingly daunting prospect. Even if you HAVE done been through the audition process, it can be intimidating.

For some, the hardest part is finding an audition piece. For others, it’s memorizing the piece and getting feedback. Some people may not know where to find auditions. And some experienced actors just need a place to practice their audition piece so when the time comes to jump on an audition, it’s at your fingertips and ready to go.

Wherever you’re coming from, this course will be a good place to find and practice an audition piece (or two) and share your journey with fellow aspiring musical theatre performers.

Please bring $25 to the first class, to be paid to the instructor. This fee will go toward paying the pianist.
