ANTI-AGING: Creating an Environment that Supports Longevity

  • For people who are serious about anti-aging, life extension, and living longer, healthier lives, I would encourage you to begin thinking (if you haven’t already) about the broader picture of working for an environment that can support health and go on supporting human life.
  • At a minimum, this would include supporting policies that give people access to clean water, clean air and healthy food to eat (not only making sure we have access to those things individually ourselves).

  • The environment we’re living in is being badly stressed and is, in places, showing signs of collapse. The climate is in a state of upheaval, partly because of human activities. The planet itself is getting hotter, and this is reflected in the rash of fires currently erupting in the U.S.

  • We need a healthy ecosphere if we’re going to live long healthy lives. I would encourage people to look at what can be done to support one.

  • Things that come to my mind are, donating to groups working to preserve and protect the environment, including the forests that are the Earth’s “lungs,” and supporting groups and leaders who understand the importance of working for the health of the ecosystem.

  • The choices we make now will make a big difference in what the Earth is like in 20, 50, or 100 years.
