When classes fill, you'll see the words "FULL" by the

Where does my tuition
payment go?
Part of it goes to the University of Washington, to pay fees the
Experimental College charges
instructors, including fees for catalog distribution and room
rentals. Part of it goes to your instructor.
What is your refund/cancellation
policy?
If you sign up for a class, and
then it's cancelled,
you will receive your choice of either a full cash refund,
or a tuition credit good toward any of the instructor's
classes in the future.
If you sign up for a class, then change your mind or can't attend.
and you notify us before the first meeting, you will receive your
choice of either
1) a tuition voucher for the full amount paid, good
toward any future class, or
2) a refund of the fee you paid for the class, minus a
$25 fee cancellation fee.
The $25 cancellation fee isn't
meant to penalize people; it's actually less
than it costs us to cancel a class. But it helps defer costs we
incur when students cancel.
If you sign up for a class,
then change your mind or can't attend.
and notify us after the first meeting, but before the second,
you will receive
a tuition credit for fifty percent of the course fee, good
toward any other class in the future.
If you attend some
meetings of a class but miss some meetings,
you can make up the meetings you missed the following quarter
at no charge.
