Private instruction is available in most of the subjects offered on the classesandworkshops.com web page, as well as related topics. It can be a good choice for people who learn better in a one-to-one situation, want to keep learning after a class ends, or can't make the scheduled class hours.
The base rate is $65 an
hour, but it may be less depending on where the instruction takes
place, how you pay for it, and how many students are attending
the session; see rate information below.
BASE FEE
The base fee for
private instruction is $65 per hour.
CASH DISCOUNT
If you pay cash
subtract $5/hour.
PACKAGE DISCOUNT
If you prepay
for three or more hours in advance, subtract $5/hour.
MULTIPLE STUDENT DISCOUNT
The fees for private
instruction are per student. If two students attend the lesson,
subtract $10 per hour per student. If three studdents attend,
subtract $15 per hour per student. If four students attend, subtract
$20 per hour per student.
DISCOUNTS ARE CUMULATIVE
For example, if
you pay cash and pay for three or more hours in advance, the fee
would be:
$65 hour (base fee) minus $5 hour (cash discount)minus $5 hour
(package discount)=$55/hour total
LOCATION
Private instruction
can take place in your home or business, on the UW campus, or
in my home in Lake Forest Park.
TRAVEL FEE
If I travel to
you home there is an additional $20 travel fee per lesson (not
per hour).
