I've made my living in the arts
since 1986, working as an artist, writer,
filmmaker and
teacher.
My work as a visual artist has included:

This page has examples of my photo-realist and photo-surrealist
artwork.
The artwork was created using a combination of methods.
I usually started by drawing an image in pencil, painting parts
of it in acrylics, then scanning
in the hand-drawn artwork and collaging it with photographic elements
in Photoshop.
The comics (below) were are from stories that were published in
Europe by
Italy's largest comics publisher, Egmont. All artwork © Nils
