At this time (December 2012), all of our classes are held in classrooms in the greater Seattle area. They are in person classes, in which students meet with an instructor in person,
We’ve also had numerous requests from out of state to make our courses available online also, as distance learning.
So we are also laying the groundwork for offering online classes, which will be ready, if all goes well, starting in fall 2013.
When they’re ready, our online courses will allow you to learn at your own pace, wherever you live.
Is online learning for you?
There are advantages to both online courses and classroom courses. For example:
Classroom courses (meeting with a teacher in realtime, on an actual college campus) work well for many students. Classroom courses are fun for students who would like to get out and about, take a break from their routine, meet others interested in the same subject area, and spend a fun morning, afternoon or evening learning and exploring an interesting new topic in a group environment.
Online courses can work well also. When you take online classes, you won’t have to worry about driving or parking, and can study at any time that works in your schedule. And you don’t have to live in Seattle… you can take our online courses from anywhere in the world. Plus, we’ll be setting up Facebook groups for each of our online classes, so you can interact online with other students, share your thoughts and insights and benefit from others, and make good connections with those with similar interests.
Either way… learning online or learning in person… you’ll receive high quality, step by step instruction, and have opportunities to interact with your instructor, get assistance when you need it, and get your questions answered as you go along.
Our online classes and workshops will be available to students in Seattle who would like to supplement their classroom learning experience, as well as to students all over the United States and the world.
