This week’s assignment is to write a short story starting with elements from the lists below. For this one, jot down some ideas first, some possible scenarios, then start writing. Go into it with a general sense of some possibilities, but nothing locked in stone. Have fun with it, and don’t worry if the first draft or two aren’t perfect; remember that you can go back and finish or edit it later.
