For this week's figure drawing homework, try drawing the images on the attached pages: some back views of a male figure, and a seated female figure.  For the female figure, I'd recommend using negative space like we did in the second class meeting.

 

For the female figure, I've shown an example of how to use negative space to get the figure parameters, on the handout.... you draw the outer shapes around the figure first to find the outlines, then add the inner details. Remember to draw slowly and carefully when drawing the negative spaces. Imagine you're drawing a piece of a jigsaw puzzle that has to exactly fit the open space in the puzzle. Then draw the inner details.
